Dedicated to: Lynn Happy belated B-Day present ^_^ Sorry its really late xD Take my hand, come with me Follow broken paves of dust Shut your eyes, believe in me Grip the hook of your sweet trust See the smile bared upon my face A carved and careful grin Ignore the hurting past That lay deep beneath your skin Follow in my footsteps As we walk in jagged beat Your laughs scream out submission As your smile admits defeat Hand in hand we follow thread To where our destination lies And as we dance towards the surface I see the joy in your eyes. As we run to this happy place The wind weeps forgotten tears As do the wrinkles that line my face All troubles disapear. Yearning for a better future As I tell myself with a sigh I don’t feel bleeding wounds I don’t hurt, I don't cry. I knew it all along though That it is not me who leads It’s my regrets that taint me It’s my dreams what bleed So, take my hand, come with me I just want a trusting friend To talk to me, comfort me, Until the very end. -Francis E. |
